A digital team alongside your people.
Who does what?
The short answer
A digital team of specialists (a CFO, a lawyer, a strategist) is fast, broad and always available: it looks things up, runs the numbers, compares and makes the first draft. Judgement, negotiation, relationships and accountability stay with people; the Dutch professional bodies for accountants and IT auditors say it literally: the professional keeps full responsibility. Together it works best when it is agreed in advance who owns which answer.
What each is strong at (as of 2026)
| Task | Digital specialist | Person |
|---|---|---|
| Looking things up in figures, contracts and files | fast and broad | checks by sampling |
| First analysis and draft | strong; speeds up the research | interprets and advises |
| Spotting anomalies | as a first filter | decides what is an error |
| Judgement under uncertainty | a starting point, not a final answer | takes the decision |
| Negotiation, relationships, oversight | no | always |
| Accountability and signing | no | always |
Why the balance lies here
On an independent test of tasks for a junior financial analyst, the best models scored about 64% in June 2026: strong at looking things up, still regularly wrong on the rest. In a study of checking annual figures, most models rejected figures that were in fact correct. And 86% of knowledge workers say they use AI output as a starting point, not a final answer.
How they strengthen each other
The person first forms an expectation, the digital specialist shows the source of every figure, and the person checks by sampling. People who use AI to understand learn more from it than those who delegate everything; and those who stay sceptical find errors better. We set up that way of working at installation.
For analysis, standalone AI tools are very good too. They do not offer that in combination with a team that already knows your figures and files, is tuned per field to your rules, and where it is agreed in advance who owns which answer.
What tailored makes possible
Calling team members by name, having several think along at once, teaching a team member something (“CFO, from now on start with cash flow”) and setting tone, sources and limits per team member: available now. Adding a team member for your field: available now, from Executive. The same team behind several people in your organisation: on request, in the Organisation edition. A fixed route to your own human colleague, so that a question beyond the limit reaches the right person: on request, together with the client.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an AI assistant, an AI agent and a digital team?
An assistant answers and arranges things for you; an agent carries out a series of tasks on its own; a digital team is several agents, each with a field, that you address by name and that can think along together.
Does a digital team replace my people?
No. It takes over research and preparation; judgement, negotiation, relationships and accountability stay with people.
Who is on your team?
See the team members, or discuss which you would add.
